Location Pitches

A couple of "location" pitches.
For me the key was conflict and danger, get the characters in peril and their true character would emerge. Writing a few pages of story to go with these I hoped would loosen the log-jam of a stalled story.

Found another layout from L&S.

City Blues On the Move

I took one of my pieces, built some FG elements in Maya and loaded in the flat art behind it.
A quick test with the Maya camera, then saved out as a QT. It makes the point.

Mulan

There used to be an interesting phrase I'd hear around the WDFAF studio, and at first didn't understand.
Then someone used it to describe this layout I did on Mulan,"Line mileage".
Lots of work, but fun stuff.
How many Col-erase, Indigo's were killed during the making of this film?

Story Ideas

These were a couple of alternate location ideas I pitched for a troubled story. They were meant to suggest both location and mood.
The first one is the interior of a circus tent. An enclosed space where our heroes would need to face head-on their fears and overcome them. It would motivate them to think fast, and to move faster. Could have made a great action sequence.
The second was the interior of an old water tower. A contemplative moment where they would meet their reason to stop looking back and keep moving forward.

City Blues

What's that famous line..."there are a thousand stories in the Naked City.." Well this is a blue one.

Cold mountain

Our hero has to get up there, what more do we need to know?
